Why they said they were late

ed time period: Crawford United Corporation (the “Company”) is unable to file its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the period ended December 31, 2021 within the prescribed time period without unreasonable effort and expense because extra time is needed for the Company’s independent auditors to complete their review of the Company’s financial statements and issue their opinion. This is the result of a delay in the preparation of the Company’s financial statements due to resource limitations caused by turnover in key management and financial positions at the Company’s operating subsidiary level, including but not limited to an unexpected death. Labor market conditions, particularly for accounting and finance roles, have made it more challenging to hire and retain these positions. The Company expects to file the Form 10-K on or before April 15, 2022, the fifteenth calendar day following the prescribed due date. A letter from the Company’s independent registered public accounting firm, which is filed pursuant to Rule 12b-25(c) under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 12b-25

About this score

reportingrisk.com scores every active US filer on three things a company tells the SEC about itself: late-filing notices on Form NT, 8-K item 4.02 (past accounts declared unreliable) and 4.01 (auditor changes). 1,012 are flagged today.

Every score is frozen and checked twelve months later. Across 91,452 of them, a company scoring 4 or more ended that year delisted, bankrupt, restated or silent 17.2% of the time, against 4.0% for a clean record. Scores before 2026-09-27 were reconstructed from the filing history as it stood at each date, so the record is a backtest rather than years of live calls.
